When it comes to anxiety, our minds can be our biggest enemy. When it seems like we can’t stop the runaway train of thoughts consuming our minds, grounding can help us regain control. Our bodies always exist in a time and space. By being mindful of our physical bodies, we can become grounded into our physical sensations, and release our minds from being overrun by anxious thoughts.
